We’ve been round long enough to amass quite a few stories by now – and we’ve often published the shorter ones for free in our Wyld Flash series. And the good news is they’re still online – clck here to read them.
For longer work in a bookshelf sized anthology we’ve got Wyldblood Magazine – we’re up to issue 17, featuring great stories by Karl Dandenell, Liam Hogan, Rhoda Neville and many others. Buy from us or from Amazon.
We’re publishing quaeterly this year, which means the next issue will be out in early April. And it means we’re churning through stories – so we need more! So we’re opening for submissions on the first day of every month to restock – which means that this Sunday is submissions day!
So if you’re a writer and you think your stories would be a good fit for us look at our guidelines then email them through on Sunday to contact@wyldblood.com. They’ll need to be between 500-5,000 words (or 15-40,000 words for novellas) and we’ll pay £0.01 per word (flat rate £100 for novellas). And they’ll need to be science fiction or fantasy. Saturday’s too soon, Monday’s too late, so send them Sunday, wherever you are.
