A new anthology – and a submissions call

We’re about to publish Hidden Shadows: A Milford Anthology on behalf of the longrunning Milford Workshop, a professional writer’s organisation with many multi award winning and multi published writers in its ranks. With stories by Jaine Fenn, Al Robertson, Heather Lindsley. David Gullen, Fiona Moore and many others, it’s packed with 340 pages of high quality science fiction and fantasy. We go live on April 3rd but you can preorder here. Available in print (from us) or as an ebook (from Amazon).

So you probably know by now that we publish Flash for free on the website in our Wyld Flash series – clck here to read them. And we publish a quarterly magazine too – Wyldblood Magazine is now up to issue 17, featuring great stories by Karl Dandenell, Liam Hogan, Rhoda Neville and many others. Buy from us or from Amazon.

If you have a stort you’d like us to feature on our website, in our magazine or as part of our novella series we’ll be taking submissions on the 1st of every month this year – that means next Wednesday, April 1st is submissions day! So if you’re a writer and you think your stories would be a good fit for us look at our guidelines then email them through on Wednesday to contact@wyldblood.com. They’ll need to be between 500-5,000 words (or 15-40,000 words for novellas) and we’ll pay £0.01 per word (flat rate £100 for novellas). And they’ll need to be science fiction or fantasy.
